Monday March 21- It snowed overnight. In fact this morning, snow was still lingering along the beaches on the tail end of the coastal storm, but was having more of an impact on New England. If you are traveling up towards Boston, there might be some delays early today. We had snow and rain showers with only minor stickage this weekend, but the ground was too warm to support it staying too long. Now the winds behind the storm will keep it chilly. Winds may gust between 30 and 40 mph as high temperatures struggle to reach 50°F. Then we will get a bounce each day through Thursday when temps get back to the 70s. Easter Weekend however might be worth watching for rain.
Here is a look at the next main weather event, a cold front that could bring strong to severe thunderstorms Thursday evening and night. After the surge to the 70s, this line of rain will arrive late in the day and pull out Friday morning.
