Sunday May 1 – Our Sunday soaker is here, and it looks like the heaviest rain will cross Washington, Baltimore, and the southern half of Maryland. Check out the radar simulation where I highlighted the concentrated circulation responsible for the heavy rain, but also a break for a few hours as warmer air will try to move in late afternoon. Then a band of storms will try to arrive tonight from the mountains.
A larger, slow area of Low Pressure will cross with more rain Monday night and Tuesday. So it looks like we have a few more days of this pattern to endure, with a slight warm up.
