Tuesday May 10 – At this point the rain has become so routine, the only thing we can do is just plot it on the timeline. I must be like countless parents waking up and wondering if my kids will play their (baseball) game this evening. As I mentioned in a prior report, the weather pattern is not the same as last week, but can seem that way. Instead of an upper level pocket of cold air stuck overhead, it is a stalled front. This quasi-stationary front is still to our south and we are on the cool side with temperatures that might struggle to reach 60°F today. Here’s today’s simulated radar. More notes below.
