Saturday August 20- It’s time I get back to work taking about the weather.. It’s been a while with the trek, and the past week was so active, but I was checked out. So here is my slow, gradual return with a brief discussion of this weekend and what will follow. The short version: Today will be classic summer weather, but not too hot around 90°F, with only an isolated storm. Tomorrow, a strong cold front plus a wave of Low Pressure will ignite a cluster of thunderstorms with a marginal risk of turning severe. Behind it will flow in a colder air mass that will have a hint of Autumn in the air by Tuesday morning.
Timing Out The Storms:
This is just a gauge for the most prominent showers… likely mid afternoon into the early evening for central Maryland and southern PA. The Delmarva will deal with an evening round of storms that may reach the beaches after sunset. These simulated radar snap shots show the best timing.
