Wednesday August 31 – The weather map is as active as the chatter of the weather with respect for schools in Maryland. Today is the day Governor Hogan is expected to announce his intentions to push state schools start date after Labor Day due to the heat and impact on tourism. Today will be another hot day that will challenge the continuously changing policy for Baltimore County schools. Meanwhile, fog has delayed schools on the Eastern Shore. All this and we watch a cold front for late day showers, then Tropical Depression Nine will be close enough this weekend to stir up the waves off of the beaches… and may be even closer.
