The rain that will arrive tonight will be part of two surges of moisture that will hopefully put a dent in growing drought problems and low reservoirs. The first push will bring the heaviest rain Tuesday morning. The second surge will come with temps between 65°F and 70°F and possible thunder. Behind it will bring back colder winds and temps back below average. Below is a look at two sliders that show how these systems will progress.
