Thursday December 22 – Our first full day of winter has started off mild, but a cold front will pass only to reinforce slightly cooler air. The next storm will track well to our west and bring us back to the above average temperature range for the last week of 2016. Rain will arrive Christmas Eve/Hanukah Night 1, but a dry Christmas for us. The Ravens however will have some showers in Pittsburgh. The mild week that will follow will end with the jet stream flipping to cool us down just before New Year’s Eve. Then we can start talking about snow again.
