Sunday Feb 19 – We are in a weather pattern that may resemble early May. But we still need to consider the colder ground, surrounding water, and lower sun angle. The say, Baltimore’s BWI hit 71°F yesterday and we will likely be in the 70s again today. This is an average high temperature for May 4th. So we are more than 2 months ahead of schedule, but I do not trust March.

There is a Run in Sykesville at 1 PM called the Shiver Shuffle and they definitely won’t be shivering. The record high in Baltimore is  72°F set in 1997. After a brief cool down, another warm up will arrive for the middle of next week and it may be even warmer. They question is not ‘if’ we will hit the 70s, but how many days. So there is no doubt we have extreme weather, but we are on the warm side while record snow has fallen in the western US this winter.

Here is a look at our relatively quiet outlook, thanks to a storm track well to our north. I have to say it: No Snow In Sight… For the next 10 Days
