Tuesday March 21 – Rain moved through early this morning and left some damp roads behind. There may be some scattered showers to our north, but this system is pretty much said and done. However, there will be a shift of winds and cold air locking in for a few days.  Now that we are fully in Spring, how would you like a quick and enjoyable forecast?  That’s pretty much what I get to share this morning, including a warmup by the weekend on the way. The only down side is the while we have a dry week ahead, drought concerns will be growing as the season gets going.

Today: Drying out with some sun after noon… Highs in the mid 60s.

Tonight: Falling back below freezing

High Pressure builds in but in tandem with a departing storm off of New England’s coast, the winds will be cold from the north and hold our temps down in the 40s.

after another chilly day Thursday, we should get a big warm up into the weekend.

Only a few showers possible this weekend. Then a better chance for rain early next week.

Get the award winning Kid Weather App I made with my oldest son and support our love for science, weather, and technology. Our 3 year anniversary of the release and our contribution to STEM education is this November. It has been downloaded in 60 countries, and works in both temperature scales. With your support we can expand on the fun introduction to science and real weather.
