Monday May 22 – Rain this morning is a signal for much of this week. Be careful what you wish for. Many people ask for dry weekends and batch the rain during the week. That is what we have in store starting with rain today. The entire week will not be wet, but a series of impulses will bring in an overall wet pattern, but there will be some nice breaks in between, especially on Wednesday, then hopefully s dry and warmer set up next weekend.
Today, rain will spread during the morning and reach southern Pennsylvania. But the steady rain will last most of the day around central Maryland and Delmarva, while northern areas will break to on and off showers. The next wave will come on Tuesday, again with many hours of steady and perhaps heavier rain. Wednesday should be dry for the Blue Angels flying over Annapolis, but bring back another chance for rain and storms Thursday. Here are the maps:

Temperatures Will be cool Monday and Tuesday. A warming trend back to the mid 70s will begin with the sun on Wednesday, then feed into potential thunderstorms Thursday.
