Wednesday May 31

I really wish  I had something else to write about. This wet weather pattern has given us three weeks of rain this month, and today will end with more showers. We start with more showers and areas of fog, but the sun will break out and we will warm up to near 80ºF before the next round of afternoon and evening storms.

The pattern has been handled poorly by short and mid range models. It is easy to identify the threat of rain, but tracking the individual showers has been an challenge for location and timing.  The prospect for today’s storms is in the slider below, but please consider that it is just the only gauge we have now until the showers fire up.

Thursday should be our dry day this week. But another round of showers will try to arrive late Friday. This weekend may start off OK, but a larger system could hinder our plans Sunday.
