June 5 2018

Temperatures this morning started off quite chilly, but it is June so the high sun angle will help to boost those in a hurry. However, there is a another cold front on the way.  This will being a round of showers and some strong thunderstorms this afternoon. Then, even cooler air will reach us tomorrow keeping highs more than 10 degrees below average. The rest of the work week looks great, but the weekend one again will feature a larger storm and wet pattern. Something we can’t seem to shake.

Water Vapor Satellite

If I didn’t know the date, I would suggest this was a winter satellite. The large trough in Ontario Canada sending a cold front across the Great Lakes is a cool pattern for us. But this is early June and it will be what sparks storms this afternoon, then holds tomorrow’s temps more than 10 degrees below average.
