Tuesday June 26 2018

It’s primary election day in Maryland and the weather is no excuse to keep you away from voting. We continue to be in a cooler than normal pattern with the upper air wind flow out of the north and northwest. That translates to another comfortable day as temperatures remain five degrees or more below average. The concentration of storms has been across the nations mid section and dropping to our south. That will push through our region Wednesday evening and Thursday, getting back to the warm stuff. In fact, this weekend should be more typical of late June with plenty of heat, but nothing to extreme for us.

The cool flow from the northwest is sending high thin cirrus clouds or way. Those may dim the sun and turn the sky a milky white, but no rain in sight… until tomorrow.
