Friday August 24 2018
This could be considered the nicest weather locally all summer. That is, if you are not a fan of excessive rain or heat it feels great outside. It is quite a contrast to the flooding from Hurricane Lane in Hawaii. This is their strongest storm in 26 and something we can relate to, but this is our time to get a break. This morning we have temperatures widespread in the 50s under a clear sky. The moon has helped to light up the night sky. We will have our full moon officially on Sunday morning, but it will look nearly full Friday and Saturday evenings.
If I told you we will not have rain for a full week that might be all you need to know. But there will be a dramatic flip around High Pressure that will take this autumn preview and replace it back to the heat next week. Below is a quick look. I will have a Hurricane Lane collection of images and info in a separate report later this morning.
