Did you wake up form the sound of heavy rain, strong winds, or even loud thunder? You were not alone. The storms the blew through overnight lived up to expectations. There had been numerous tornado warnings and damage will be assessed in the daylight. One area that might have had a touchdown is in Laurel Delaware. But tree damage has been widespread. Dress for it getting colder. Temps will drop into the lower 50s and 40s on the north side this afternoon. Add in the wind and it will feel like the 30s for some and might affect after school practices or games.
