Saturday March 21 2020
It was a nice break on Friday when the weather warmed and many got out of the house. But we are about to feel the full impact of this COVID19 State of Emergency ‘Stay at Home’ or Shelter in Place. Much cooler temperatures are already in place and will hold for a few days.
Friday Temperature Recap:
- Baltimore at BWI hit 83ºF. Record was 85ºF in 1945
- Washington at Regan hit 83ºF. This tied their 1945 record.
- Washington at Dulles hit 80ºF. This broke the old recored 77ºF in 1976
Today: Noticeably cooler. Morning rain on the lower Eastern Shore. Some clearing this afternoon.
Sunday Morning: Frost and a hard freeze may challenge any early blooms.
Monday: Some snow and heavy rain will keep us inside on Monday. We could get 1 to 2 inches of rain from that system.
