If you saw rain yesterday, there is a good chance you are waking up to some fog this morning. If not, you are likely to encounter some during a commute. The good news is that today will be a reverse of yesterday as we see an improvement this afternoon.
The clearing will be part of a fresh new chilly air mass. This will bring snow to western Maryland and some morning frost inland.
Morning Surface Weather
Another cold front will help to clear out the morning fog. It will also kick up some snow showers in western Maryland, and bring us a chilly trend into the weekend.
Chilly and damp start with a range of upper 40s to mid 50s.
Western Maryland already in the 30s and expecting snow.

Clearing tonight, but clouding back up Friday helping to keeps temps down. While the weekend will be chilly, we should be Saturday and bring back showers on Sunday.
Storm Animation: Noon Thursday to Noon Friday
The big story will be snow showers in western Maryland. A dusting to up to 1 inch possible in Garrett County.
Southern Maryland: Showers later today.
Locally we could still see an isolated shower on Friday with the chilly air.
This forecast is set for Baltimore at BWI. I’ve highlighted the coolest mornings where inland areas are likely to have frost.
