September 17 Coastal Storm Throws Us Showers Before Turning Tropical

An area of Low Pressure located about 100 mile from Cape Hatteras has been identified by the National Hurricane Center with a 70% chance to turn tropical in the next two days.
Tropical Outlook
The good news is that it will stay off of the coast and move away. So even if it gets named, it will be going out into the open ocean.
Satellite Loop
Most metro and coastal areas are starting today with morning fog and drizzle. This same region will be in line for afternoon storms. There is a sharp cut off across the mountains. So farther west and north, much less influence from this system.

That coastal storm will influence us today and possibly part of tomorrow. Sunday will clear out, and the weather for Sunday Night’s Ravens Game looks great.
